"While writing Dust and Echoes, we were really enjoying messing with all kinds of delays and effects. The result was this really spacey track with a lot of breathing room, so we got especially creative with the drums. If you can catch it, there’s a moment where Mark and I joked that we went “full Top Gun” on them." Eric

"We experimented and got more adventurous with Dust and Echoes. Couple favourite moments are the hand drum ensemble with the key/guitar riff, the acoustic guitar passage, the chorus harmonies and that middle-eastern like vocal melody. I recall us having fun when we brought back one of the verse sections except made it totally ’80’s’ with the double time groove. Also the breakdown with the frequency shifter is fun times." Mark
